Cooperation with other authorities at European Union level

(1) The Federal Network Agency cooperates in a transparent manner with the national regulatory authorities of other Member States of the European Union, the Commission, and BEREC, in order to ensure consistent application of the provisions of Directive (EU) 2018/1972. It cooperates, in particular, with the Commission and BEREC in identifying the measures best suited to addressing particular situations on the market.
(2) The Federal Network Agency supports BEREC's objectives regarding better regulatory coordination and greater coherence.
(3) The Federal Network Agency participates in the Radio Spectrum Policy Group jointly and in agreement with the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernisation.
(4) The Federal Network Agency takes the utmost account, in performing its functions, of the recommendations adopted by the Commission under Article 38(1) and (2) of Directive (EU) 2018/1972. Where the Federal Network Agency decides not to comply with such a recommendation, it notifies the Commission of this, stating its reasons.
