Duties to cooperate; compensation

(1) The parties obligated under this Division must, on the order of the Federal Ministry for Digital Affairs and State Modernisation, cooperate in the cases under section 184, and in the course of contingency planning and exercises of crisis management staffs within Germany, and must second the necessary specialist personnel for this purpose.
(2) For personnel seconded on the basis of an order under subsection (1), compensation is granted from the start of deployment, per person and per commenced hour. This corresponds to point 11.3 of Annex 1 to the Judicial Remuneration and Compensation Act of 5 May 2004 (Federal Law Gazette I, pp. 718, 776), as last amended by Article 6 of the Act of 21 December 2020 (Federal Law Gazette I, p. 3229), as amended from time to time. The compensation may not exceed, per person and per day, the amount payable for an eight-hour deployment.
