Termination of the connection

(1) The provider of publicly available telecommunications services with whom the telephone number for premium services, short code voice services, or directory enquiry services is established must terminate every connection to that telephone number billed time-dependently after 60 minutes. This also applies where a call has been connected onward to a telephone number for premium services or for short code voice services.
(2) Derogation from the obligation under subsection (1) is permitted where the end user identifies themselves to the provider by a suitable procedure before using the service. The Federal Network Agency regulates the details. It may, by general order, lay down the details of the permissible procedures for terminating connections.
