Price display

(1) For short code data services, a person who determines the price payable by the end user for the use of that service must
1. before the charge begins to accrue, display, clearly visibly and legibly, the price payable for use of that service, including value added tax and other price components, from a price of EUR 1 per use, and
2. have the end user confirm receipt of the information.
(2) Derogation from the obligations under subsection (1) is permitted where
1. the service is provided in the public interest, or
2. the end user identifies themselves to the party obliged under subsection (1) by a suitable procedure before using the service. The Federal Network Agency regulates and publishes the details.
