(1) Anyone who has a legitimate interest in doing so may request, in writing or electronically, from the Federal Network Agency, information on the name and address for service of the person to whom a number has been assigned by the Federal Network Agency. The information should be provided without delay after receipt of the request under the first sentence.
(2) Anyone who has a legitimate interest in doing so may, free of charge, request from the person to whom the Federal Network Agency has assigned (0)137 telephone numbers or telephone numbers for short code services,
1. information on the name and address for service of the person offering services via one of these telephone numbers, or
2. notification of the person to whom the telephone number was transferred under section 59. For short code numbers not assigned by the Federal Network Agency, the claim lies against the person in whose network the short code number is switched. For telephone numbers transferred under section 59, the claim to information under the first sentence, point 1, lies against the provider to whom the telephone number was transferred. The information under the first to third sentences should be provided within ten working days of receipt of the request submitted in writing or electronically. Those obliged to provide information must obtain the particulars from their customers and keep them up to date.
