(1) Basic own funds are classified in Tier 1 where they display, to a substantial degree, the characteristics named in section 91(2), points 1 and 2, with additional regard to section 91(3) and (4).
(2) Basic own funds are classified in Tier 2 where they display, to a substantial degree, the characteristic named in section 91(2), point 2, with additional regard to section 91(3) and (4).
(3) Ancillary own funds are classified in Tier 2 where they display, to a substantial degree, the characteristics named in section 91(2), points 1 and 2, with additional regard to section 91(3) and (4).
(4) All other basic own funds and ancillary own funds not falling under subsections (1) to (3) are classified in Tier 3.
