(1) Insurance undertakings must ensure, through appropriate processes and procedures, that the best estimates and the assumptions underlying their calculation are regularly compared against experience data.
(2) Where the comparison shows a systematic deviation between the calculations of the best estimate and the experience data, the undertaking concerned must make corresponding adjustments to the actuarial methods used or to the underlying assumptions.
