The Federal Ministry of Finance is authorised, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, to issue, by statutory instrument, provisions for pension funds not subject to supervision by the Länder supervisory authorities, 1. on the content, structure, and design of the information under section 234l(1), 2. on the content, structure, and design of the pension information under section 234o(1) to (3), 3. on the content and frequency of the notification under section 234p(1) and (3), 4. on what information, beyond section 234m(1) or (2), must be provided at the start of the pension relationship, 5. on what information must additionally be provided to the prospective beneficiary before joining the retirement provision scheme in the case of section 234n, 6. on what further information the pension fund must provide to the prospective or current beneficiary on request, 7. on how information is to be made available to the prospective or current beneficiary, and 8. on determining the assumptions to be applied to the projections under section 234o(3). Statutory instruments under the first sentence do not require the consent of the Bundesrat.
