Insofar as, for life insurance contracts concluded after 28 July 1994, the premiums may be changed with effect for existing insurance contracts, such changes may be put into effect only after an independent trustee has consented to them. Section 157(1) and (2) applies correspondingly to the trustee. The trustee's involvement does not apply where changes under the first sentence require the approval of the supervisory authority.
