Insofar as this Act does not prescribe otherwise, the provisions of Books One and Four of the Commercial Code concerning merchants, with the exception of sections 1 to 7, also apply correspondingly to mutual insurance associations. For accounting, the provisions of the Second Subdivision of the Fourth Division, in conjunction with the provisions of the First and Second Divisions of Book Three of the Commercial Code, apply correspondingly.
