Profit and loss attribution

Insurance undertakings must examine the causes and sources of profits and losses of each main business area at least once a year. In doing so, they examine how the risk categorisation chosen in the internal model explains the causes and sources of the profits and losses. The risk categorisation and the attribution of profits and losses must reflect the risk profile of the insurance undertakings.
