Time limits for reporting and disclosure duties

(1) The time limit within which insurance undertakings must submit annually the information under Article 304(1) of Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/35 of 10 October 2014 supplementing Directive 2009/138/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the taking-up and pursuit of the business of Insurance and Reinsurance (Solvency II) (OJ L 12, 17.1.2015, p. 1), as amended by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/467 (OJ L 85, 1.4.2016, p. 6), is 1. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2016 but before 1 January 2017, 20 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year, 2. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2017 but before 1 January 2018, 18 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year, 3. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2018 but before 1 January 2019, 16 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year, and 4. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2019 but before 1 January 2020, 14 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year. For insurance undertakings whose business year ends on or after 1 January 2016 but before 1 July 2017, the time limit is 20 weeks after the end of the business year. In this case, the time limit is shortened by two weeks in each of the following three business years. The first to third sentences apply correspondingly to information to be submitted half-yearly.
(2) The time limit within which insurance undertakings must submit quarterly the information under Article 304(1) of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/35 is 1. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2016 but before 1 January 2017, 8 weeks after the end of the quarter of the business year, 2. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2017 but before 1 January 2018, 7 weeks after the end of the quarter of the business year, 3. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2018 but before 1 January 2019, 6 weeks after the end of the quarter of the business year, and 4. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2019 but before 1 January 2020, 5 weeks after the end of the quarter of the business year. For insurance undertakings whose business year ends on or after 1 January 2016 but before 1 July 2017, the time limit is eight weeks after the end of the quarter of the business year. The time limit is shortened by one week in each of the following three business years.
(3) The time limit within which insurance undertakings must publish the solvency and financial condition report under section 40 is 1. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2016 but before 1 January 2017, 20 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year, 2. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2017 but before 1 January 2018, 18 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year, 3. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2018 but before 1 January 2019, 16 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year, and 4. for the business year ending on or after 30 June 2019 but before 1 January 2020, 14 weeks after the end of the undertaking's business year. For insurance undertakings whose business year ends on or after 1 January 2016 but before 1 July 2017, the time limit is 20 weeks after the end of the business year. The time limit is shortened by two weeks in each of the following three business years.
(4) Subsections (1) to (3), in conjunction with sections 276 and 277, apply correspondingly at group level to participating insurance undertakings, insurance holding companies, mixed insurance holding companies, and mixed financial holding companies, whereby the time limits named there are each extended by six weeks.
