Information for prospective beneficiaries during the accrual phase

(1) Pension funds must make available to the prospective beneficiary, at least every twelve months, the information material to him or her on the state of his or her pension relationship. The information is compiled in concise, precise form, headed "Pension information".
(2) The pension information must take into account the particular features of the statutory retirement provision schemes and of employment, social, and tax law.
(3) The pension fund must include in the pension information a projection of the retirement benefits up to the expected retirement age. It must clearly indicate that
1. the particulars in the projection are not guaranteed and the final amount of the retirement benefits may differ from the projection, and
2. the prospective beneficiary cannot derive any claims against the pension fund from the projection.
(4) Where the pension information contains material changes compared with the information in the previous pension information, these must be clearly indicated.
(5) The pension fund must inform the prospective beneficiary, in good time before the date from which retirement benefits are expected to be drawn, of the form in which the retirement benefits may be drawn. It must also provide this information on the prospective beneficiary's request.
