Amendment of the articles of association

(1) Only the highest representative body may amend the articles of association.
(2) The highest representative body may delegate to the supervisory board the right to make amendments that concern only the wording.
(3) The highest representative body may authorise the supervisory board to comply, where the supervisory authority requires changes before approving the amendment resolution.
(4) A resolution of the highest representative body under which a class of insurance is to be discontinued or a new one introduced requires a majority of three-quarters of the votes cast; the articles of association may require more. Other resolutions under subsections (1) to (3) require such a majority only where the articles of association do not provide otherwise.
