Insurance undertakings must respond to customer complaints about insurance intermediaries or other insurance undertakings that mediate their insurance policies. Consumer protection associations also have the right to complain. In the case of repeated complaints that may be material to assessing reliability, they must inform the authority responsible for granting authorisation under section 34d(1), first sentence, of the Trade Regulation Act.
