Section 46

Form and period of convening

(1) The general meeting must be convened in the manner determined by the statutes, with a period of at least two weeks. On convening, the following must be published: 1. the agenda, 2. the form of the meeting under section 43b(1), 3. in the case of section 43b(1), number 4, additionally the form of the discussion phase, and 4. in the case of section 43b(1), numbers 2 to 4, the particulars required for the use of written or electronic communication. The agenda of a representative meeting must be published to all members by publication in the cooperative gazettes or on the internet at the cooperative's address, or by direct notification in text form.
(2) No resolutions may be taken on matters whose deliberation has not been announced at least one week before the general meeting in the manner provided by the statutes or under section 45(3). This does not apply where all members have appeared, or where the matter concerns resolutions on the conduct of the meeting, or motions to convene an extraordinary general meeting.
(3) For the moving of motions, and for deliberations without a resolution, announcement is not required.
