The commercial broker is to retain, unless released therefrom by the parties or by local custom given the kind of goods, the sample of each piece of merchandise sold by sample as a result of the commercial broker’s brokerage, provided such sample has been furnished to the broker, until the merchandise is accepted without objection as to its quality or the transaction is settled otherwise. The commercial broker is to make the sample recognisable by a mark.
