(1) The liens held by maritime lienors rank amongst each other in the order in which the corresponding claims are listed in section 596.
(2) However, liens for the claims listed in section 596 (1) no. 4 take priority over liens for any earlier claim on the part of any other maritime lienors.
(3) Any claims for contribution in general average are deemed to have accrued on the date on which the general average act was performed; claims to a salvage reward, to special compensation, and to compensation of the costs of salvage are deemed to have accrued on the date on which the salvage measures were terminated; claims for the removal of the wreck are deemed to have accrued at the time such removal of the wreck is completed.
