Forwarders are responsible for the acts and omissions by the people in their employ to the same extent as for their own acts and omissions, provided the employees act within the scope of their employment. The same applies to the acts and omissions by other persons whose services the forwarders use to fulfil their duty to arrange for the dispatch of the goods.
