Maintenance of the ship in contractually agreed condition

For the duration of the time charter contract, the owner is to maintain the ship in a condition suitable for the contractually agreed use. In particular, the owner is to ensure that the ship is seaworthy and, insofar as the ship is to be used to carry goods, that it is also in cargoworthy condition.
