Unless otherwise provided for in section 542 (4), any agreement which rules out or limits liability for the death of or personal injury to a passenger, or for the loss of, physical damage to or delayed re-delivery of passenger luggage, will be invalid insofar as it was made prior to the event that caused the death of or personal injury to a passenger or the loss of, physical damage to or delayed re-delivery of passenger luggage.
