Section 365a

An electronic record that fulfils the same functions as the transport insurance policy is equivalent to the transport insurance policy under section 363 (2), provided it is ensured that the authenticity and integrity of the record are maintained (electronic transport insurance policy). The Federal Ministry of Justice is authorised to provide, in agreement with the Federal Ministry of the Interior and Community, by statutory instrument not requiring the approval of the Bundesrat, for the details of the issuance, presentation, return and transfer of an electronic transport insurance policy as well as for the details of the procedure for making subsequent entries in an electronic transport insurance policy.
