Insofar as a ship has a tonnage of no more than 250 tons, the limit of liability to be calculated in accordance with Article 6 (1) letter b) of the Convention on Limitation of Liability for Maritime Claims (section 611 (1) sentence 1) is assessed at half of the limit of liability applicable to ships with a tonnage of 2,000 tons.
