If a bill of lading issued by the master or by any other party authorised to sign bills of lading on behalf of the Reeder does not identify the carrier, or if said bill of lading identifies a person as a carrier who is in fact not the carrier, then the rights and duties under the bill of lading will devolve onto the Reeder instead of the carrier.
