Where the capital management company holds authorisation to provide financial portfolio management within the meaning of section 20(2), point 1, or subsection (3), point 2, it must inform the clients concerned who are not institutions within the meaning of the Banking Act, in a suitable manner, of its membership of a scheme for safeguarding clients' claims (compensation scheme); section 23a(1), second and twelfth sentences, and (2), of the Banking Act applies correspondingly.
