The principal or the agent may terminate the agency. Termination may take effect only at a point in time that allows the principal to make timely alternative provision for handling the function, and allows the agent to adjust to the lapse of the agency within a reasonable time. Where good cause exists, termination may take effect immediately. Section 88(4) applies correspondingly.
