The providers of benefits must settle their reimbursement claims on a flat-rate basis, insofar as this is expedient. Where a reimbursement claim is, in the individual case, expected to amount to less than 50 euros, no reimbursement is made. The providers of benefits may, in derogation from the second sentence, agree higher amounts. The Federal Government may, by statutory instrument with the consent of the Bundesrat, raise the amount named in the second sentence in line with the annual increase of the monthly reference figure under section 18 of the Fourth Book, rounding down or up to ten euros in doing so.
