Costs of administrative assistance

(1) The requesting authority owes the requested authority no administrative fee for the administrative assistance. It must reimburse the requested authority, on demand, for expenses where these exceed 35 euros in the individual case, or 100 euros for administrative assistance between insurance carriers. Deviating arrangements remain unaffected. Where authorities of the same legal entity render administrative assistance to one another, expenses are not reimbursed.
(2) Where the requested authority carries out, in conducting the administrative assistance, an official act subject to a fee, the costs owed for this by a third party (administrative fees, usage fees and expenses) are due to it.
