The claim to reimbursement is precluded where the person entitled to reimbursement does not assert it at the latest twelve months after the expiry of the last day for which the benefit was rendered. The running of the period begins at the earliest at the point in time at which the provider of benefits entitled to reimbursement obtained knowledge of the decision of the provider of benefits liable to reimburse on its duty to render benefits.
