Stay of court proceedings in civil matters

Where the resolution authority issues a resolution action against an institution or a group entity with its seat in Germany, proceedings in civil matters to which the institution or the group entity with its seat in Germany is a party, or in which it is involved as a co-litigant or as a third party within the meaning of Book 1, Division 2, Titles 2 and 3, of the Code of Civil Procedure, are stayed until the resolution authority has published the conclusion of the resolution action under section 140(6).
