(1) The resolution authority chairs the resolution college. In that capacity, it must 1. determine, in writing, after consulting the other members of the resolution college, the modalities and procedures for the functioning of the resolution college; 2. coordinate all activities of the resolution college; 3. convene meetings of the resolution college, and inform its members in advance, and in full, of the convening of meetings, the main items on the agenda, and the matters to be discussed; 4. inform the members of the resolution college which meetings are planned, so that they may request to participate; 5. decide which members and observers are invited to participate in specific meetings of the resolution college, having regard to the importance of the matter to be discussed for the members and observers concerned, in particular the possible effects on financial stability in the Member States and third countries concerned; 6. inform all members of the college, in good time, of the decisions taken and the outcomes reached at the meetings concerned.
(2) Members of the resolution college must request to participate in the meetings. The resolution authorities of the other Member States are always entitled to participate in meetings of the resolution college where matters on the agenda are subject to joint decision-making, or relate to a group undertaking located in their jurisdiction.
(3) The members of the resolution college cooperate closely.
