The following are not deemed loans within the meaning of section 14: 1. loans arising from foreign-exchange transactions that are settled, in the course of the usual settlement procedure, within two business days of the advance performance, 2. loans arising from securities transactions that are settled, in the course of the usual settlement procedure, within five business days of the advance performance, 3. in the case of carrying out payment transactions, including performing payment services, clearing and settlement in any currency, and correspondent banking business, or providing services to customers for clearing, settlement, and custody of financial instruments, late incoming payments in financing arrangements and other loans in customer business that exist for no longer than until the following business day, 4. cash collateral deposited in connection with financial-market transactions for customers, whose agreed term or period of notice does not exceed one business day, 5. loans granted, in the case of carrying out payment transactions, including performing payment services, clearing and settlement in any currency, and correspondent banking business, to institutions that provide these services, provided the loans are to be repaid by close of business, 6. loans written off, and 7. dispositions of amounts credited from the direct debit collection procedure that are marked "subject to receipt".
