(1) The beginning of the insurance cover may be made dependent on the payment of the premium insofar as the insurer has drawn the policyholder’s attention to this condition in writing in a separate communication or by means of a conspicuous note in the insurance policy.
(2) Agreements deviating from subsection (1) to the detriment of the policyholder are not permitted.
