(1) The Federal Agency maintains a Review Board for Media Harmful to Young Persons, which decides on the inclusion of media in the list of media endangering young persons under section 18 and on removals from that list.
(2) The Federal Agency shall promote, by suitable measures, the further development of child and youth media protection. This includes in particular 1. promoting the joint assumption of responsibility by the state, business and civil society, to coordinate an overall strategy for realising the protected interests under section 10a, 2. making usable and further developing the findings, derived from the body of the Review Board's decision-making practice, concerning social-ethical disorientation of children and young persons caused by media, in particular by means of orientation aids for children and young persons, persons with the right of custody, and professionals, and by promoting public discourse, and 3. regular exchange of information with the institutions active in the area of child and youth media protection, concerning their respective decision-making practice.
(3) The Federal Agency may, to perform its tasks under paragraph 2, promote or itself carry out measures of supra-regional significance.
