Protected interests of child and youth media protection

Protection in the area of the media includes 1. protection from media that are capable of impairing the development of children or young persons, or their upbringing into personally responsible and socially capable individuals (media impairing development), 2. protection from media that are capable of endangering the development of children or young persons, or their upbringing into personally responsible and socially capable individuals (media endangering young persons), 3. protection of the personal integrity of children and young persons in their use of media, and 4. the promotion of orientation for children, young persons, persons with the right of custody, and professionals working in education, in the use and pedagogical handling of media; the provisions of Book Eight of the Social Code remain unaffected.
