Section 35

Duties of economic operators to provide information

Economic operators must, upon a reasoned request from the market surveillance authority, provide the information necessary for the market surveillance authorities to perform their tasks under this Act. A person obliged to provide information under this Act may refuse to answer such questions as would expose that person, or a relative of the kind named in section 383(1) nos. 1 to 3 of the Code of Civil Procedure, to the risk of criminal prosecution or of proceedings under the Act on Regulatory Offences. That person must be advised of the right to refuse to provide information.
