(1) The market surveillance authority must inform the public, in a suitable manner, for example on its website, and in an accessible manner, of its existence, its competences, the means of contacting it, its work and its decisions.
(2) On request, the market surveillance authority must make the information under subsection (1) available to a consumer in a form perceivable to that consumer. Where necessary, the market surveillance authority explains the information to the applicant in a simple and comprehensible manner. Where such an explanation is not sufficient for the applicant, the market surveillance authority should explain the information in Easy Language.
