Cooperation within the European Union

(1) Where an issuer having its seat in another Member State of the European Union or in another contracting state to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, whose shares are admitted in that Member State or contracting state under Directive 2001/34/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 28 May 2001 on the admission of securities to official stock exchange listing and on information to be published on those securities (OJ EC L 184, p. 1), applies for admission of securities carrying subscription rights for those shares, the Management must obtain an opinion from the competent body of the other Member State or contracting state before its decision.
(2) The provisions on cooperation under Regulation (EU) 2017/1129 remain unaffected.
