(1) Economic assets and rights that are to be traded at the exchange and that are not admitted to trading in the regulated market or included in the regulated market or the open market, require admission to trading by the Management. Before admission to trading, the Exchange Council must issue conditions of business for trading at the exchange. The details are governed by Articles 36 and 37 of Commission Regulation (EC) No 1287/2006 of 10 August 2006 implementing Directive 2004/39/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council as regards record-keeping obligations for investment firms, transaction reporting, market transparency, admission of financial instruments to trading and defined terms for the purposes of that Directive (OJ EU L 241, p. 1) and by the Exchange Rules.
(2) Without prejudice to subsection (1), the Management must, before admission of derivatives to trading, fix the contract specifications. These must be designed such that orderly exchange trading and effective settlement of exchange transactions are possible. Subsection (1), third sentence applies accordingly.
