(1) A diagnostic genetic examination may be carried out only by physicians, and a predictive genetic examination only by medical specialists in human genetics or by other physicians who have qualified, in the course of obtaining a specialist, sub-specialist or additional designation, for genetic examinations within their field.
(2) The genetic analysis of a genetic sample may be carried out, within the framework of a genetic examination, only by the physician responsible or by persons or institutions commissioned by that physician.
(3) Genetic counselling under section 10 may be provided only by physicians referred to in subsection (1) who have qualified for genetic counselling.
