Prohibition of discrimination

(1) No one may be discriminated against on account of their own genetic characteristics or those of a genetically related person, on account of the carrying out or non-carrying out of a genetic examination or analysis on themselves or on a genetically related person, or on account of the result of such an examination or analysis.
(2) The applicability of prohibitions of discrimination or requirements of equal treatment under other provisions and principles is not affected by this Act. This also applies to provisions of public law that serve to protect particular groups of persons.
