Section 60

Defence

If participation of defence counsel is imperative in the proceedings of the administrative authority (section 140 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure), the administrative authority is competent to appoint such counsel. The administrative authority also renders a decision on admission of other persons as defence counsel, and on rejection of defence counsel (section 138 (2) section 146a (1) sentences 1 and 2 of the Code of Criminal Procedure).
