(1) The provisions of the Patent Act on the rendering of expert opinions (section 29(1) and (2)), on the use of copyright-protected works and other protected subject matter (section 29a), on restitutio in integrum (section 123), on further processing of the application (section 123a), on the duty of truthfulness in proceedings (section 124), on electronic conduct of proceedings (section 125a), on the official language (section 126), on service (section 127), on judicial assistance by the courts (section 128), on the compensation of witnesses and the remuneration of experts (section 128a), and on legal protection against excessively long court proceedings (section 128b), also apply to utility model matters.
(2) The provisions of the Patent Act on the grant of legal aid (sections 129 to 138) apply to utility model matters accordingly, section 135(3) with the proviso that the representative assigned under section 133 has a right of appeal.
