Cooperation with domestic supervisory authorities

(1) The Federal Cartel Office and BaFin must communicate to one another the information necessary for the performance of their tasks. BaFin transmits to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy the information communicated to it under section 10(2), first sentence, no. 3 and section 35(1), fourth sentence, and, on that authority's request, the offer document transmitted to it under section 14(1), first sentence or section 35(2), first sentence. Section 25(1) and (3) of the Federal Data Protection Act applies to the transmission of personal data.
(2) BaFin may, in carrying out its tasks under this Act, avail itself of private persons and institutions.
