In the proceedings before the appellate court, unless otherwise determined, the following apply accordingly: 1. the provisions of sections 169 to 197 of the Courts Constitution Act on public proceedings, courtroom order, the language of the court, deliberation and voting, and 2. the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure on the exclusion of and objection to a judge, on authorised representatives and assistants, on service of process by the court, on summonses, dates and periods, on the ordering of the personal appearance of the parties, on the joinder of several proceedings, on the taking of evidence by witnesses and experts and on the other kinds of evidentiary procedure, and on restoration to the previous position on default of a period.
