Notification and service

(1) BaFin makes known orders issued against a person resident, or an undertaking with its seat, outside the territorial scope of this Act, to the person named as authorised representative. Where no authorised representative has been named, notification is made by public notice in the Federal Gazette.
(2) Where the order must be served, service on persons resident, or undertakings with their seat, outside the territorial scope of this Act is effected on the person named as authorised representative. Where no authorised representative has been named, service is effected by public notice in the Federal Gazette.
