(1) Where the parent undertaking of a securities institution is a mixed-activity holding company, the Bundesanstalt, where it is the authority competent for the supervision of the securities institution, may 1. require the mixed-activity holding company to provide all information necessary for the supervision of the securities institution; and 2. supervise the transactions between the securities institution and the mixed-activity holding company and its subsidiary undertakings, and require the securities institution to have adequate risk management procedures and internal control mechanisms, including sound reporting and accounting procedures, so that these transactions can be identified, quantified, monitored and controlled.
(2) The Bundesanstalt may verify the information received from the mixed-activity holding company and its subsidiary undertakings on site, or have it verified by external auditors.
