(1) The qualified trust service provider must, in addition to informing persons about the terms of use under Article 24(2)(d) of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 because they wish to use a qualified trust service, also 1. inform them of the measures necessary to contribute to the security of the qualified trust services offered and their reliable use, drawing attention to relevant sources of information, in particular information provided by manufacturers of products for qualified trust services and by the supervisory bodies, 2. draw attention to the fact that, in accordance with section 15, data that has been qualified-electronically signed, sealed or time-stamped must, where necessary, be re-secured by suitable measures before the security value of the existing signatures, seals or time stamps diminishes with the passage of time, and 3. inform them of the legal effects of the qualified trust services offered.
(2) Where a person wishing to use a qualified trust service has already been informed at an earlier point in time under Article 24(2)(d) of Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 and under subsection (1), and no changes have occurred, renewed information may be dispensed with.
