(1) At an applicant's request, a qualified certificate for electronic signatures may contain the following attributes: 1. information on the applicant's power of representation for a third person, 2. information relating to the applicant's official or professional position, or other information about the applicant, and 3. further personal information. Information on power of representation may be included in the qualified certificate only where the third person's consent has been demonstrated to the qualified trust service provider. Information relating to an official or professional position, or other information about the applicant, may be included in the qualified certificate only where the competent body has confirmed the information. Further personal information may be included in a qualified certificate only with the data subject's consent.
(2) Where a pseudonym is to be entered in the qualified certificate in place of the name, information on power of representation for a third person, or information relating to an official or professional position or other information about the person, is permissible only where the third person or the competent body has consented to the use of the pseudonym.
(3) Subsections (1) and (2) apply accordingly to qualified certificates for electronic seals. Attributes in qualified certificates for electronic seals may also include the representation arrangements within the applicant legal person, provided these representation arrangements have been demonstrated to the qualified trust service provider.
