Duty of confidentiality

The duty of confidentiality of BaFin's staff, in respect of facts that have come to their knowledge in the course of their activity, is determined by the supervisory provisions on the basis of which the individual staff member acted. The first sentence applies accordingly to the members of the Administrative Council and of the advisory bodies, in respect of facts that have come to their knowledge in performing their tasks.
